Spotlight: Andy Ruffett Visits to Talk About YA Novel, THE WRONGDOER!
Today, fellow author Andy Ruffett is stopping by to talk about his latest book !
Hello! Thanks for having me.
My pleasure! Let me ask a few questions since you're here...
The book is about a teenage boy who falls in love with a girl and is bullied for it. The book came out September 2013 and you can get it on Amazon.
So, what inspired you to write this book? How did you get into writing YA fiction?
A girl actually, but I never ended up with her. I got into writing because of my brain. I have always loved to read and have a deep imagination. My preferred style to read is young adult fiction. I believe that the real truth lies in young adult fiction because real adults lie.
I see. Well, it's likely that some do.
Tell us...what, do you feel, sets your book apart from other books in the genre?
I believe it really highlights how serious bullying is and how most kids were bullied by somebody when they were growing up.
Well, it's definitely a topic we should be thinking about, and measures should be taken to guard against it.
It certainly sounds intriguing!
I am writing a sequel to what I believe will be my masterpiece: REAL ART.
Great! Sounds like a fascinating tale!
Thanks so much for stopping by to tell us about The Wrongdoer, Andy!
